What is brandy?

Brandy is a spirit distilled from wine (A fermented mash of grapes). Brandy is a Dutch word that means ‘burnt wine’. There are types of brandies in Nepal from other fruits as well such as peach, apple Brandy, Apricot Brandy, Cherry Brandy, etc. Fruit Brandies are popular as mixed drinks and cocktails.

How does brandy make?
Brandy is aged in casks for more than two years. Fruit Brandies are made in different wine regions. There are varieties of Brandies we found according to the soil, climate, quality of fruit, and production methods, it depends on quality. The Lightest accolade and guarantee of quality Brandies are Cognac and Armagnac.
